Pray for relief efforts in Chile.

Pray for the assessment team who has been traveling south of Santiago, Chile to assess the damage of the earthquake and make decisions on where to begin relief efforts. Pray that God will lead them to men of peace and give them wisdom. Pray that the gospel can be shared and that lives will be changed through relief efforts. Praise God that contacts have been made with important leaders in different cities. In the city of Talca, where the epicenter of the earthquake occurred, five of the thirteen hospitals in the region were destroyed. Pray for medical supplies and equipment needs to be met. Lift up the local Baptist churches as they minister to their own congregation but also that they will reach out to their community through relief efforts that will open doors for future ministries.
